• Instrument: Cello. I knew five seconds after picking one up that THIS was what I was going to do for a living. I’m serious—ask me about it!

• I love getting to play different music in different styles with different musicians. I can’t get BORED; there’s still room to learn!

• I enjoy talking with non-musicians about music—its history, stories about different composers, and more.

• Career highlights: Performing and touring with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Johnny Mathis, and Mannheim Steam Roller; recording and touring with the Chicago Symphony in Australia and Europe a number of times. It’s been a GREAT ride!!

• My future outside of the cello? I may finally follow several colleagues’ advice and start a stand-up comedy routine.
